He was a project contractor with a great income. however, such material enjoyment as a happy family and smooth career couldn’t fill the unexplainable emptiness in his heart. … For the need of his work, he had to observe the leaders’ speech and behavior, and fawning and flattering them. And people in the same business schemed against each other. All these made him extremely tired.
In 1999, he fortunately accepted Almighty God’s end-time work. The simplicity and openness of the brothers and sisters and the enjoyment of God’s word made him find the true human life and happiness. To repay God’s love, he began to preach the gospel to others. In December, 2005, he was arrested by the CCP government when having a meeting in a home. During the interrogation, in order to get the information of other brothers and sisters, the devils used cruel and frantic tortures on him such as threats, inducements, beating, hanging, spraying cold water, electric shock, shocking with electricity, and so on. However, God’s care and keeping and the inspiration and guidance of God’s words led him to see through the devil’s schemes, taste God’s love and mercy, and make a resolution to satisfy God even he had to be imprisoned for all his life. During the two years in labor camp, he was assigned to labor in the brick works in great heat and high intensity. Weak and painful to an extreme, he thought of dying. However, God wonderfully hindered his actions. … Relying on the faith and strength given by God’s love, he had a stronger heart to love God, and passed through those bittersweet and unusual days.…

전능하신 하나님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “그가 예수를 따를 때 예수에 대하여 견해가 아주 많아 언제나 자기의 관점으로써 가늠하였다. 비록 그는 영에 대하여 인식이 좀 있었지만 그렇게 명확한 것은 아니었다. 그러므로 그가 “하늘 아버지께서 보내셨으면 제가 꼭 따를 것이고 성령께서 지시하셨으면 꼭 저의 마음에 들 것이나이다.”라는 이러한 말을 할 수 있었다. 그는 예수가 한 것을 깨닫지도 못하였고 투득하지도 못하였다. 그가 예수를 한동안 따르고 나서 예수가 한 것과 말한 것에 대하여 흥미가 생겼으며 예수 이 사람에 대해서도 흥미가 생겼다. 그는 예수 이 사람이 친절하고 존경스럽다고 느껴졌으므로 그와 접촉하기를 바랐고 그와 함께 있기를 바랐다. 예수가 한 말씀을 듣고 그는 공급받을 수 있었고 도움받을 수 있었다. 예수를 따르는 기간에 베드로는 예수의 일함ㆍ말씀ㆍ거동ㆍ표정과 그의 모든 생활을 눈에 새겨두었고 마음속에 아로새겼다. 그는 예수가 일반인과 같지 않다는 것을 깊이 알고 있었다. 비록 예수의 인성 외각은 아주 정상적이었지만 사람에 대한 사랑이 충만하였고 사람에 대한 긍휼이 충만하였고 사람에 대한 관용이 충만하였으며, 그가 한 것과 말씀한 것은 다 사람에게 아주 도움이 되었다. 베드로는 예수 몸에서 자기가 여태껏 보지 못한 것을 보게 되었으며, 예수 몸에서 자기에게 여태껏 없던 것을 얻게 되었다. ”
Like thousands of followers of the Lord Jesus, Yu Fan focused on studying the Bible, sacrificed and paid the price of suffering for the Lord, and pursued to serve the Lord fervently. She thought this was the way to secure her rapture into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord returns. It was after the preachers of the Church of Almighty God had fellowship and debates with her that she came to realize the mystery of rapture into the kingdom of heaven. Only then did she finally awaken from the dream and become certain that Almighty God was the Savior Jesus she had been expecting day and night.
