In September, 2003, because of believing in Almighty God, she was arrested by the CCP government during a house meeting. In order to force here to sell out the brothers and sisters and betray God, the evil cops tortured her inhumanly for a whole week: beating her brutally, “swinging” her, forcing her to squat in a horse stance, handcuffing and shackling her, humiliating her…. For seven days and six nights, she didn’t eat or drink or sleep. Along with being tortured and maltreated by the evil cops, she was almost paralyzed. … However, God’s life word lead her to see through satan’s schemes time after time, and kept giving her faith and strength so that she stood testimony tenaciously and defeated satan the devil!
Although she experienced the cruel persecution of the CCP devils, she got the priceless treasures of her life—the wealth of life bestowed by God. She saw God’s wonderful deeds and that God rules over all things, tasted the authority and power of God’s word, and even more felt the infinity and immensity of God’s life force! At the same time, she saw through the devilish substance of the CCP and had true discernment of justice and evil, which even more stirred up her resolution to pursue to love God and know God!

Power of God's Word | Short Film "God's Love Accompanied Me in the Affliction"

Ge Zhen is a church leader of the Church of Almighty God. Because of believing in God, she was watched by the CCP government secretly for half a year. Once in transferring the money used for preaching the gospel, she was arrested by the police. In order to seize more church offerings, the CCP government cruelly tortured Ge Zhen and another church leader over and over, even dragging them to a secret place in deep mountains to set up a court and interrogate by cruel torture. 1. God has a new start and has gained glory on earth. Because of the final beautiful prospect, God cannot help expressing the excitement in His heart: God’s heart beats and, following the rhythms of God’s heartbeat, the mountains leap for joy, the waters dance with joy, and the waves, keeping time, beat upon the rocky reefs. It is difficult to express what is in God’s heart. It shows that what God has planned is just what God has accomplished and what God has preordained, and is just what God requires people to experience and see.

2. The prospect of the kingdom is beautiful, and the King of the kingdom is victorious. There is nothing of flesh and blood from His head to His toe but only holy element. He radiates holy luster all over without any mixture of human will, and He is full of righteousness and heavenly breath all over, giving off an attractive fragrance, just like the beloved in Song of Songs. He is more beautiful than all the saints and higher than the ancient saints, and is an exemplar for all men. Man cannot compare with Him and is unworthy to look Him in the face. God’s glorious countenance, God’s face, and God’s image are attainable to no man. No one shall compete with Him and no one can easily praise Him with his mouth. No one can easily praise Him with his mouth.

Power of God's Love | Short Film "Between Life and Death, God's Love Accompanied Me"

He was a project contractor with a great income. however, such material enjoyment as a happy family and smooth career couldn’t fill the unexplainable emptiness in his heart. … For the need of his work, he had to observe the leaders’ speech and behavior, and fawning and flattering them. And people in the same business schemed against each other. All these made him extremely tired.

In 1999, he fortunately accepted Almighty God’s end-time work. The simplicity and openness of the brothers and sisters and the enjoyment of God’s word made him find the true human life and happiness. To repay God’s love, he began to preach the gospel to others. In December, 2005, he was arrested by the CCP government when having a meeting in a home. During the interrogation, in order to get the information of other brothers and sisters, the devils used cruel and frantic tortures on him such as threats, inducements, beating, hanging, spraying cold water, electric shock, shocking with electricity, and so on. However, God’s care and keeping and the inspiration and guidance of God’s words led him to see through the devil’s schemes, taste God’s love and mercy, and make a resolution to satisfy God even he had to be imprisoned for all his life. During the two years in labor camp, he was assigned to labor in the brick works in great heat and high intensity. Weak and painful to an extreme, he thought of dying. However, God wonderfully hindered his actions. … Relying on the faith and strength given by God’s love, he had a stronger heart to love God, and passed through those bittersweet and unusual days.…
